In the PhoneHQ app, you’ll find a list of all completed calls. To use the AI Assist features, select a specific call from the list by clicking on it. This will open the detailed view of the call, where all advanced options are available.
Once you open the call details, you’ll see a section containing the recorded conversation. You can easily identify it by the play icon (
) and the duration of the recording (e.g., 1 min 30 sec). This is where the AI Assist features are located.
Transcription converts audio recordings into text, allowing you to quickly review conversations without listening to them. To generate a transcript:
Locate the purple "GENERATE TRANSCRIPT" button in the recorded call section.
Click the button to start the transcription process.
Wait for a moment while the system processes the recording.
The completed transcript will appear in the "Call transcript" section.
The transcript provides a full text record of the conversation, ideal for analyzing details or searching for specific information.
Summaries capture key points from conversations, saving you time when reviewing calls:
In the "Call summary" section, find and click on the purple "GENERATE SUMMARY" button.
The system will analyze the conversation and create a concise summary of key details.
The summary will automatically appear in this section once generated.
Summaries are especially useful for managing multiple calls and quickly recalling important information from each one.
In addition to transcription and summaries, you can manage call recordings directly:
To play a recording, click on the play icon in the recorded call section.
You can start playback from a specific timestamp (e.g., at 01:28).
While listening to the recording, you can follow along with the transcript for better context understanding.
Availability: AI Assist features are only accessible for recorded calls.
Call Status: Ensure that calls are active or completed to access transcription and summary options.
