Your first phone number (one or more) is assigned to the account during the registration process. This article explains how to request additional local phone numbers for your account after the initial registration.
A local phone number is a phone number registered in a specific country. For example, phone numbers in the United States start with the country code +1, while numbers in the United Kingdom begin with +44.
Please be aware that legal regulations regarding phone numbers differ from country to country. Therefore, when you request a new local number from a country different from your company's registration, we might need to ask for additional company information to comply with local laws. If you are requesting a number from a different country, our Support Team will guide you through the process and inform you about any specific requirements. We recommend contacting them early in the process to ensure a smooth and quick setup.
To request a new local phone number, please contact PhoneHQ Support and provide the following details:
Number of phone numbers needed
Countries from which the numbers should be assigned
Whether the numbers should be private or public within the account
If you need a "gold number" (also known as "vanity numbers" or "easy-to-remember numbers"), we will do our best to find one that meets your requirements.
The Support Team will provide you with available number options, pricing details, and any additional requirements needed to add the number to your account.
Once you accept the proposed terms, the number will be added to your account, and you will receive email notifications at every step of the process.
